The rite of spring

I am a long time Logic user and I have bought and re-learned back Cubase just to use the FLOW. I have learnt from Marco how the great VSL template should look like. He did very well things that would reaurie so much work from composer, he did it! It would be good to get an integration for other libraries. I hope it will happen, but for now I bought the whole thing and I highly recommend the good system!

FLOW is amazing! The setup is easy (manual included) and everything works as it should! I don’t have to spend nearly as much time on setting up and loading my template, instead I can focus on the fun part: composing and orchestrating. Bonus: You’ll automatically start using far more articulations than leg, stacc and pizz 😉

FLOW is the perfect assistant in Cubase! Orchestration is now an easy job thanks to the intelligent integration of automation, expression maps and instrument change per track! And… not onlly Spitfire Audio is supportee. New tutorials will teach us to integrate other libraries (e.g. Orchestral Tools, etc.) soon. Thank you Marco for your great job!

FLOW integrates critical components for orchestral composition in a seamless and efficient fashion. Marco has done a great job and Flow will save countless hours of work for composers who use VEP, Cubase and the Spitfire libraries

I decided to adopt VEP Pro Server for all orchestra writing, but work deadlines demand I not spend months learning and designing my VEP Server template. I randomly found Marco’s FLOW template, and decided it was worth a try…… and the experience has exceeded all my expectations. The integration took less than a full day! The documentation was clear. The few questions/problems I encountered were answered almost instantly. Most importantly… I was writing my first cue in the new FLOW template that day. By the end of the first week, the template felt like a natural extension of my workflow. 100% recommend this experience!

I got in touch with Marco after watching some of his videos on Youtube, and since day first he was very kind to solve my doubts regarding setting up software and hardware to create a definitive DAW for orchestral scoring purposes. Then he told me about FLOW, which instantly became a game changer. Not only FLOW can save you months (if not years) of headaches and programming in Lemur, but it’s also an upgradable solution to implement more libraries in future. In fact, after installing it and understanding a bit in depth the audio routing and Cubase settings, Flow also becomes an easy platform to be customised, based on your specific needs. Having had the chance to know him while he was working in beta-testing phase, I was also able to learn how efficient he is to track down any possible issue and solve it shortly. Do yourself a favour and use FLOW. It will help you to focus on composing, rather than code scripting!

I contacted Marco Di Stefano who was working on a project called ‘Flow’. His goal was to help people to easily setup Cubase 9, Vepro 6 and Lemur to manage their Spitfire Audio libraries. And I have to say… In less then one hour I was setup and ready to go! I just followed his manual on how to configure each program so they would communicate properly with each other through Lemur. Then I fired up his templates and after that, the only thing I had to do was to delete the tracks I didn’t have libraries for. I can’t tell you how happy I am now. All the time I lost on trying to get my musical template working, I now will gain with a swift, intuitive and easy to use workflow. So now I can finally go back to making music …
